Our Mexican-spiced chicken thighs take less than 5 minutes to get in the oven with juices that make it perfect for serving with warm tortillas or over rice. It's one of the easiest dinners you can make that will leave you craving more. You've hit the jackpot of desserts with Girdle Busters! Crispy baked eggplant slices are layered with rich marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella, and parmesan cheese for an eggplant parmesan that is simply irresistible! Notes from the StudioOnly one of the recipes this week is new to our recipe collection, which is Girdle Busters. It happens to be a recipe that Caytlin has been making for years and years and years. Developing recipes takes a lot of time. Some weeks we put out one or two new recipes, but a lot of our time each week is spent updating older content. We are constantly striving to make things better. We push ourselves to write better recipes, give you better instructions, provide more helpful information, improve the organization and formatting, add video tutorials, etc. So while none of the recipes this week are new, they are some of our best recipes and they deserve an upgrade for you. One of the things we've been talking about a lot in the studio is really looking at how we can improve writing our recipes. You may have noticed that we've started including the amounts of ingredients in the instructions themselves. We'd love your feedback on this and whether or not you like it. In fact, it'd be great to hear from people who DON'T like it so we can hear those perspectives in addition to those who DO like it and why. We can't please everyone, but we can certainly try! The other thing I wanted to share with you this week is a photo of our wall. I've been able to add things to it this week. It's full of photos of those of YOU who I have been able to meet in real life. It also has notes from you, and one of my favorite parts: the reviews. We are printing out our favorite reviews we've gotten on our recipes. We love it when you leave reviews on our recipes—for better or worse—and we've been printing out some of our favorites to put on the wall. And just in case you've ever wondered if we publish bad reviews, here's one that came through last week that made us laugh. Beware of our edible M&M cookie dough! |
