☀️☕️ Sunday Chat + Holiday Recipes Are Here!

Hey you!

Wednesday and Thursday will drive the most traffic to my website of the entire year. It's such a spike outside of the ordinary, it's ridiculous to even fathom. It blows my mind every year.

Those two bonkers days are fun to see, but I don't ever want it to go to my head. So, I have a tradition of using that traffic to keep myself humble and grateful by donating all of the money from the highest earning day to charities, and using the second highest earning day to give it to my employees to thank them for all that they contribute to what The Stay At Home Chef is.

Years ago, I did an estimate of how many people ate my dinner rolls on Thanksgiving and realized it was well into the millions. That just blew my mind. That many people trusted me with one of the most important elements of their holiday meal. It's such a tremendous honor.

So thank you for using my recipes this week. It means more to me than you'll ever know. It's an honor that I take very seriously.

Whatever it is you are making, you've got this. Play it safe with a tried and true favorite, try something totally new and different, or anything in between. Ultimately, it really is about taking the time to pause and reflect on the things in life that really matter with a heart full of gratitude.

See ya later!

Rachel

People are loving this recipe quite a bit this week! The video has something like 1 million views on Facebook. Wild! They are so easy to make too, and oh so delicious!

Sugar coated almonds? Yes please! I couldn't resist and made another batch this week. They are perfect for all the holiday snacking, whether it's for a party, enjoying the holidays at home with the family, or gifting.

As a pistachio lover, it was quite enjoyable to test this recipe and design the perfect pistachio fudge. Pistachio is such a hard flavor to extract and highlight. I found that they key is to add a small amount of almond extract. You'd never identify the almond taste, but it sure makes the pistachio flavor shine.

Hey you! Today is the last Sunday chat of the year, but it's also the last official Sunday chat. Sunday Chat started out on a total whim and became something that people looked forward to every week. I looked forward to it every week too! It was a time for us to chat and connect in a different way. It is how I have spent every Sunday morning for the past year and a half, almost two years. Which means it's also how I have spent every Sunday morning for the past year and a half. 'Tis time to...

Hey you! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Remember how I donate the proceeds from traffic to my website on Thanksgiving? While I didn't meet my goal, I'm happy to report that I'll be donating just over $10,000 to Feeding America. It's truly such a privilege to be able to use The Stay At Home Chef to feed people, including those who need a little extra help. Thanksgiving also marks the anniversary of "The Gray Hair Video" that altered the trajectory of my life story. 9 years and over 1...

Hey you! I'm headed off to Arizona this week to check in with my neurologist. After years of having nothing but bad news at doctors' offices, I still have a lot of anxiety going in. Yet, I'm sure it'll be nothing but great news as I continue to be miraculously in full remission. Going from such intense suffering to being "normal" is just such a strange thing to experience. I've been doing a lot of podcast interviews recently. I talked about the Cheap Eats Meal Plan on the Better Budgeting...
